Join Clean Ocean Action and the Conservation Committee for a Cleanup on April 9

Debris such as cigarette butts and plastic can be fatal to marine and coastal wildlife. You can play a part to help reduce that waste on Saturday, April 9. Join Clean Ocean Action and the New York-North Jersey’s Chapter’s Conservation Committee for a cleanup of the shores of the Hudson River at the base of the Palisades in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey.

Clean Ocean Action has been leading beach cleanups twice a year since 1985, and this year, will be conducting cleanups at 70 different sites in New Jersey. The event will run from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., followed by lunch provided by the Conservation Committee and an optional hike along the river.

Please bring gloves and a pail to pick up debris. Registration is required
